A graduate of Dr. Burke’s alma mater, The Pennsylvania College of Optometry, Dr. Michael Berzansky was awarded with Clinical Honors in Primary Care upon graduation in 2005. Dr. Berzansky’s diverse training included clinical internships at the following: pre and post surgical
care at the Laurel Eye Clinic in Pennsylvania, the Pediatric Clinic located at The Eye Institute in Philadelphia, providing care to veterans of the armed forces at the Veterans Affairs hospital in Manchester, New Hampshire, and a specialty contact lens internship with industry leader, Dr. Stephen Byrnes, in Londonderry, NH.
With 16 years of experience in ocular disease detection and management (including glaucoma, macular degeneration, retinal disease, cataracts, and dry eye), Dr. Berzansky is comfortable in
providing comprehensive medical care, in addition to routine vision care. Dr. Berzansky’s other focus is with specialty contact lens fitting, including all modalities of soft contact lenses (i.e. toric, multifocal, and custom); gas permeable, hybrid, and scleral lenses. Of note is his 10 years of experience with fitting scleral lenses that has changed the lives of those suffering from ocular surface disease including keratoconus, pellucid marginal degeneration, corneal scarring, corneal dystrophies, and dry eye.
He looks forward to providing primary optometric care for all ages in the area.
